God's Accuracy

God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs.  For example, the
eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days; those of the canary in 14 days;
those of the bar nyard hen in 21 days.  The eggs of ducks and geese hatch
in 28 days; those of the mallard in 35 days.  The eggs of the parrot and
the ostrich hatch in 42 days.  (Notice, they are all divisible by seven).

The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way
for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life.  If you try
to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure.  Only
the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them
to a profitable end.

God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant.  The four legs of this
great beast all bend forward in the same direction.  No other quadruped
is so made.  God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too
large to live on two legs.  For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so
that it can rise from the ground easily.  The horse rises from the ground
on its two front legs first.  A cow rises from the ground with its two
hind legs first.  How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as
well as in the number of grains.  Each watermelon has an even number of
strips on the rind.  Each orange has an even number of segments.  Each

ear of corn has an even number of rows.  Each stalk of wheat has an even
number of grains.  Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even
number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an
even number and the next row an odd number.  The waves of the sea roll in
on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.  All grains
are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord spe cified
thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and a hundredfold - all even numbers.

God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during
the day, so that Linneus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a
conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature,
he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and
those that were closed!

Thus the Lord in His wonderful grace can arrange the life that is
entrusted to His care in such a way that it will carry out His purposes
and plans, and will be fragrant with His presence.  Only the God-planned
life is successful.  Only the life given over to the care of the Lord is
safe.

"FACE THE WIND – IT'S A FAITH WALK"

as I was reading this I couldnt help but remember my trips to Honduras.Sun  I had the children blow away their fears in bubbles.  That what ever they were afraid of to blow it away in the bubbles they were blowing and they would float up to the very throne room of God and he would take away all their fears.  You should have seen their faces, some were very serious about what they were afraid of and blowing it away.  These children live in fear all the time,Broken heart about being abused, beating, overworked & where their next meal will come from.  But after they blew them away, their whole face changed.Open-mouthed  And they were laughing and playing , and you could see they felt relief to know there was a God who cared about them.  As adults we seem to forget that we too can blow away our fears or what ever else is a challenge in our life.  God is there ready to take care of it for us.  We just have to ask.  I pray this verse every day, Philippians 4:9  God supplies all my needs.  I have to do this every day to remind myself he is there for me, EVERY DAY!  I pray that this will encourge you to do the same.  God bless you in your walk with Him.

The Winds of Change are Blowing

Does it feel like everything in our lives is being challenged? Sometimes it seems like our spiritual compass is spinning out of control and we can't find our direction. We put one foot down and the ground moves under the other foot. There is no doubt that we have crossed over into uncertain times. The certainty in uncertain times is to keep our anchor in Jesus.

Isaiah 41:10 says, "Do not fear for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

It's time to walk by faith and not put a lot of trust in our own understanding. The winds of change are blowing and everything in our lives is affected. These winds will show us where our house is built.

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus is teaching about the two houses:

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

"But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

Two houses and two foundations. Often we feel that the winds are adverse times and difficult seasons of our lives, but what if the winds actually represents the Holy Spirit?

God is redefining His Church. God is directing the wind and we find ourselves faced with two choices. We can either turn our faces to the wind or turn our backs on the wind.

If we turn our backs to the wind, we lose sight of things to come and can become rigid and unmovable, possibly even fighting against God. If we face the wind, we find ourselves positioned to have old things blown off of us, capture new vision, and become strengthened for the days to come.

LET THE JUNK BLOW OFF YA!

This shift and change is from God and we must face this wind to get to our next place. He is getting old stuff out of us. Old mindsets, old methods, old comfortable paths and predictable lifestyles are being blown off of us in this wind.

We must avoid trying to reconstruct things God is dismantling. This change is essential. We cannot move forward without it.

God is challenging us to increase our faith. We must ask ourselves this question: Will we choose to be a people of faith or familiarity?

The truth is we cannot keep going like we are going to arrive at the place God wants us to be at. The path is turning. We have to follow Him to arrive at our destiny. We are faced with an opportunity of setting the stage for the greatest visitation of His presence that the world has ever seen.

Things are being removed and things are being added to our lives. The choice is ours. Do we turn our back on the preparation process or do we face the wind and let God reshape our lives, circumstances and mindsets for His purposes?

The very wind He sends, prunes, protects, directs and guides us. There is a higher plan in place. It is God sending this wind.

THERE GOES THE ROOF

These windy times are seasonal, but our faith must increase right now. God is blowing the lid off of our little world. When the roof is gone, there is no obstruction to seeing the Heavenly realm. Things are getting exposed. We are able to see things from God's view.

When the wind dies down, we will have a clearer picture of God, of ourselves, our assignment, and a deeper dependence on God with new levels of trust and faith. Honestly, most of the stuff we thought we just had to have, we discover we just don't need anymore and when it's gone, we won't miss it - stuff in the natural and in the spirit realm.

WHERE IS OUR FAITH?

God is taking over. He is directing the ship. As this storm comes up, will we remember God's words to us or will we be like the disciples who woke Jesus up in the boat, telling Him they were going to die?

Luke 8:22-25, "Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, 'Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.' And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, 'Master, Master, we are perishing!'

"Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, 'Where is your faith?' And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, 'Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!'"

We are going to make it to the other side. The process may take us in a way we didn't see coming, but the end result is that we will be in a new place with new perspective and INCREASED FAITH!

Face the wind. It is a good thing and a God thing.

How Sharp is your Ax?

Dear God, Calm my spirit today. Please forgive me of gossip or worry about the people and circumstances that surround me. Please replace anger with peace. Please help me to keep my focus on Jesus, author and finisher of my faith. Please help me to focus on what I need to accomplish today, and what You want me to do. Put away all wrong thoughts and keep me from wrong actions. I want to be a steady, stable, godly person who is a pleasure to be around and a loving witness of your mercy and glory. May I be an instrument that produces a sweet, soothing sound, uplifting spirits and pleasing the Master Conductor, My Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

How Sharp Is Your Ax?

"If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but skill will bring success" (Eccl 10:10).

Manufacturing companies live and die by the ability of its designers, engineers, and staff to bring new products to market quickly. Yet for many organizations, a team's capacity to turn promising ideas into new revenue is diminished because of fragmented business processes, a geographically dispersed workforce, and a lack of standards across the supply chain according to an industry expert on innovation in technology.

We live in an information age where the level of knowledge is increasing at warp speed. The way you did things two years ago may not be the same way you do it today. The knowledge you have two years ago may not be adequate to compete in the global marketplace today. Businesses have gone bankrupt because they were not willing to change with the times. Have you seen a Polaroid camera lately? Do you know someone over sixty years old who chose not to learn about computers? The world passes by such people because they are unwilling to "sharpen their ax."

God calls every workplace believer to model four key attributes: 1) Excellence, 2) Ethics and Integrity, 3) Extravagant Love and Service, and 4) Signs and Wonders.

The first quality of a Christian worker should be excellence. Excellence does not just mean the way we do our jobs, but it also means staying abreast of how we do our jobs. God desires to reveal His innovations in His creation. You will not compete in the marketplace today unless you make a commitment to stay abreast of innovation. This too is good stewardship.

How is your "workplace ax"? Does it need sharpening? What are the areas in your working life that need to be sharpened? What innovation is needed to insure that you will be the "head, not the tail" in your workplace calling? Begin today to evaluate action steps you may need to take to have a very sharp "ax".

I ain't scared

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline" (2 Tim. 1:7).

I have a bumper sticker on my car that says "I ain't scared" 2Tim 1:7   I pray that this will help someone that is dealing with fear.

Fear is the enemy of faith. Fear is bondage. Satan wants us to live in bondage to the past and even the future, but God wants us to live in the freedom of His love and power in the present. As Paul wrote, "For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father'" (Rom. 8:15).

In order to be the leaders God calls us to be, we must conquer our fear and put it to death. This is a spiritual battle, and it can only be won with spiritual weapons. We must replace our fear with the peace that surpasses understanding. As Jesus told His followers, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).

As the apostle Paul told the persecuted Christians in Rome, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Rom. 16:20). The God of peace is our conquering King; the peace of God is our weapon against fear and Satan. Before going to the cross, Jesus told His disciples, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).

Fear is a natural response to obstacles, adversity and failure, but peace is the supernatural response that God gives us by His grace. Just as Jesus had authority over the wind and waves, He has authority over the storms in our lives. He has authority over our doubts, fears and shame.

Doubts, fear and shame are the weapons of Satan, but Jesus stands against Satan's fury and says with authority, "Peace, be still." The peace of God shatters the weapons of Satan and sends our enemy fleeing.

Appropriate the peace God has already provided for you today.

3 day prayer focus for breakthrough

3-Day Prayer Focus

Day 1: Read Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14; Zechariah 3 and 4. Ask the Lord to show you what wealth has been hidden from you by the enemy. Ask the Lord to reveal the sound of deliverance that is within you! Hear the Lord rise up on your behalf and tell the enemy, "Enough is enough!"

Make a list of every hindrance and obstacle in your path. Shout GRACE "eight times" to each blockage. Declare you will see your portion that has been hidden!

Day 2: Read Psalm 16, Isaiah 60, Ephesians 4:25-5:21. Fan your glory until you sense the Lord rising in you in a new way. Do this by taking off anger! Do this by breaking procrastination! Do this by looking in the mirror and encouraging yourself spiritually. Look beyond the outer reflection. Do this by singing a new spiritual song! Put on a new glory!

Memorize two key Scriptures from the passage in Ephesians. Ask the Lord to show you the new portion He has for you.

Day 3: Read Numbers 23, especially verse 21. Notice how the enemy wishes to curse you, but the shout within you causes even the enemy to bless you. Shout "seven times" against false altars that have been built against your life and watch the blessings of the Lord open up over you. Read Matthew 21, Mark 11:10, John 12:13.

Know that the Lord is going before you to deliver you! Sing Hosanna to the Lord!

3 day prayer focus for dealing with forgiveness

Three Days of Prayer

Day 1: Read Matthew 5:38-6:15. Pray the Lord's Prayer in a way that you have never prayed it before. Memorize this prayer.

Day 2: Read Matthew 7:1-12, Joshua 3, Isaiah 57:14-21. Write a definition of what humility means to you.

Sing a new song:
I will humble myself in Your sight
I will submit myself fully to You
Embrace me, empower me, and make me new
Let me resist my foe so I can see my path
And hear you say "Go."
Here I am Lord; I am ready to go!

Day 3: Read Matthew 8:1-4, Luke 17:11-19. Stop and ask the Lord, "Which leper am I? The worshiping leper? The healed leper? Or the whole leper?" Then meditate on John 20.

Let Him breathe on you in a new way.

Jesus Calling

I am nearer than you think, richly present in all your moments.  You are connected to Me by Love-bonds that nothing can sever.  However, you may sometimes feel alone, because your union with Me is invisible.  Ask Me to open your eyes, so that you can find Me everywhere.  The more aware you are of My Presence, the safer you feel.  This is not some sort of escape from reality; it is tuning in to ultimate reality.  Iam far more Real than the world you can see, hear and touch.  Faith is the confirmation of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.     Hebrews 11:1

Discipleship

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to
Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. - Matthew
28:18-20.

Last night I gradutated from Discipleship Class, I was an Alumna from 10 yrs ago.
I felt that God wanted me to attend the class again.  Because I am in a different season
and place in my life than what I was 10 yrs ago.  I found out that I am a missionary and
my motivational gift is Exhortation.  One of my goals is to build a safe-house for abused
children.  So they will not only be safe, but know God's love for them.

One Body, the Body of Christ

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ" (1 Cor 12:12-13).

Imagine with me for a moment that you have won a very expensive car. However, in order to receive your prize, you must agree to an unusual requirement. You must agree to remove one major component in that car in order to receive the gift.

Which component will you remove?

Will it be the steering wheel? Perhaps it will be the left front tire or the front seat or the two headlights. My illustration may seem ridiculous, but you get the point. Unless you have the complete car and have the ability to use all of its components, your ability to benefit from that car is going to be severely limited. The Bible says you and I are part of a larger Body - the Body of Christ. We each have our own body, but we are also made up of a larger Body that has a unique function to play. When you are not functioning as God intended, the entire Body suffers because you are not fulfilling your prescribed function.

When you function in a way that is not directly connected to the larger Body, you are only fulfilling a small portion of why the Manufacturer made you. There is a greater mission that you must fulfill. Today, the Body of Christ is fragmented and seeks to do things separated from one another. Our individual church "silos" stand alone - often as monuments to man instead of the greater mission of reaching the city.

Jesus knew the key to fulfilling His mission was getting His larger Body to work as one. "I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me" (John 17:20-21). What is your part in the overall mission? Are you fulfilling your prescribed function as designed by the Manufacturer?

Jesus Calling

Relax in My Peaceful Presence.  Do not bring performance pressures into our sacred space of communion.  When you are with someone you trust completely, you feel free to be yourself.  This is one of the joys of true friendship.  Though I am Lord of lords and King of kings, I also desire to be your intimated Friend.  When you are tense or pretentious in our relationship, I feel hurt.  I know the worst about you, but I also see the best in you.  I long for you to trust Me enough to be fully yourself with Me.  When you are real with Me, I am able to bring out the best in you; the very gifts that I have planted in your soul.  Relax, and enjoy our friendship.   John 15:13-15

my pray for today

Dear Father in Heaven, You can see the big picture. You know me and where I'm to fit in life. Please help me see myself through your eyes...and understand my role on this earth. Help me stop and take a look at how others see me...my family, my friends, my co-workers, my neighbors. When someone mentions my name, I want it to be in a good way; in a way that glorifies you. I want to live the life you planned for me. Thank you for including me in your plans...and for loving me unconditionally. Bless You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
